Finding all the items mentioned throughout the book in the pictures is a good bedtime activity - a reappearing little mouse is particularly vulnerable. 

At the end of the little rabbit's Goodnight poem, the story calms down and the drawings darken at night. You can expect a sleepy smile and at least one or two yan as you turn the last page. (Picture book)
